Paul Taylor

Paul Taylor is a founder member of West Walls Studios. His work includes painting, illustration and cartoons for clients including Waitrose, Animal Defenders International and The Campaigne for Drawing. In 1996 he was artist in residence at the British Schools in Hong Kong. From 2005 - 2008 he was lead practitioner for Creative Partnerships at Petteril Bank Primary School, Carlisle. He is currently Co-Course Leader of the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at the University of Cumbria.

In recent years he has also helped devise public participation art events, including West Walls Studios' five Award-winning Big Draw projects. His most recent project was designing wall plaques for the Denton Holme stretch of the Carlisle Flood Defense Scheme, creating images celebrating the lost industries of the area.
